Felipe is pursuing an MBA at Washington University in St. Louis. He is an economist from the University of Chile and a CFA charter holder with over seven years of experience in the investment and financial industry. He started his career as a Research Analyst at Banchile Inversiones, one of Chile’s largest stockbrokers, and later joined Celulosa Arauco, the world’s second-largest pulp and panels company, as a Strategy and Risk Analyst. In his latest role as a Portfolio Manager at Inversiones Security (one of Chile’s top private banks), Felipe managed discretionary fixed-income portfolios for over 40 Wealth Management clients, aligning each portfolio with its unique risk profile and consistently surpassing benchmarks. Felipe’s professional interests include financial planning, personal finance, company valuation, and investments.

As an outdoor enthusiast, Felipe enjoys practicing sports such as pickleball, hiking, running, surfing, and paddleboarding. Passionate about positively impacting the environment, he likes to participate in activities like beach cleanups, recycling, or volunteer programs. Additionally, Felipe views learning as a continuous process filled with ups and downs, where mistakes are natural stepping stones to personal growth.”
