Sebastián Vallejo Vera (Maryland, 2019) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Western Ontario. He is also the director of the interdisciplinary Laboratory of Computational Social Science – México (iLCSS) and a Research Fellow at the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Data Science Institute (University of Houston), and was a faculty member at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Santa Fe. His research explores various aspects of politics and political institutions in Latin America, including gender and gendered institutions, racial identity and racism, and legislative politics.
