Since 2018, Professor Jorge Llibre-Guerra has worked with the Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer Network at Washington University in St. Louis and has lead research efforts to expand clinical trials and observational studies in families with Alzheimer’s Disease in Latin America. Recent work focuses on the influence of risk factors and health disparities on Alzheimer’s Disease (age at onset, cognitive decline, and biomarker rate of change.) Llibre-Guerra has received research funding from the Global Brain Health Institute, the World Federation of Neurology, and the Alzheimer’s Association.
