Fabio Letieri is the Vice President of Human Resources for Nestlé Purina PetCare. Fabio’s career spans 25 years, with expertise in Human Resources and Corporate Affairs management. He oversees a team responsible for translating the company’s business goals into HR business goals, specifically for the 12 Business and Corporate departments he and his team are responsible for in the organization. Fabio accomplishes this through developing and implementing Purina’s people strategy and human resources services and programs.
He began his Human Resources career in Brazil with Dow Chemical before joining Nestlé. Two years later, Fabio was transferred to Nestlé’s Global Headquarter in Switzerland for three years, responsible for implementing Zone America’s HR strategy in Latin America markets.
After that, for five years, he was named Head of HR & Corporate Affairs for Nestlé’s standalone confectionary business in Brazil. There, he led the implementation of HR strategy, policies, and procedures; designed and implemented best practices focused on business development throughout HR programs; and led internal and external communications.
Before being appointed VP of Human Resources at Nestlé Purina, Fabio was the Public Affairs & Social Responsibility Head for Nestlé Brazil for two years, leading the relationship with authorities, external stakeholders, and NGOs, strengthening Nestlé strategic relations toward corporate social responsibility and sustainable business.
Fabio speaks four languages and has a degree in business from Universidade Catolica De Santos (Brazil), a post-graduation in Business and HR Specialization from Fundação Getulio Vargas (Sao Paolo, Brazil).
Also, a Leadership program from IMD Business School in Switzerland and a Business program from Nestlé, led by London Business School in China and Switzerland.
Most recently an Executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He has two sons and is an avid runner and cyclist.
