Emmanuel Biney

Emmanuel Biney is a full-time MBA student at the Olin Business School, Washington University in St Louis, concentrating on Finance with over five years of working experience in Finance in Treasury Management, FP&A, and Sales and Marketing Financial Services. Emmanuel earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana in 2012. He also holds an Operations Certificate from the Financial Markets Association (ACIFMA). Before his MBA, Emmanuel started as a volunteer working with financial experts and students to financially empower selected remote communities in Ghana by developing viable business ideas, designing business development programs, and setting up sustainable community businesses. He later pursued a career in banking with Calbank PLC in Ghana as a Treasury Operations Analyst, spending over four years in treasury operations and a year in Sales and Marketing with United Bank for Africa as an Account/Business Development Manager. The confluence of his experiences drove the need to pursue an MBA at the Olin Business School to hone his skills. Emmanuel loves to socialize, watch movies, and go sightseeing during his leisure time.
