Ifeyinwa is a physician and clinical researcher from Lagos, Nigeria with expertise in primary health care, clinical research, health care financing, and management. She is a graduate of medicine and surgery from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos in Nigeria. Her desire to bring about change and reforms in her country’s health care sector brought her to Brown School at  Washington University in St Louis where she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public health with a sub-specialization in global health.

Her interests span from strengthening health systems to reducing health disparities and improving maternal and child health.  She is also a  volunteer of  The NEO CHILD INITIATIVE (a non-governmental organization focused on child health and education) and an alumnus of the Action group on Adolescent health (a college non-governmental organization focused on educating young people about sexual health and improving their access to reproductive health services).  

She loves to sing, watch movies, hang out with friends, travel and hopes to visit every country in the world during her lifetime.
