The McDonnell International Scholars Academy welcomes its 17th cohort of Scholars, including Scholars from 13 countries.
The cohort consists of 22 dynamic Scholars, each of whom represents the many unique characteristics that contribute to the diversity of the Academy. The McDonnell Academy will have 99 Scholars in-residence at the start of the 2022-23 academic year.
The McDonnell Academy aspires to have one Scholar from each university partner in-residence along with U.S. and international Scholars from around the world. The 2022 cohort adds Scholars from six newly represented countries, including Bangladesh, Cameroon, Canada, Jamaica, Venezuela, and Sudan, pursuing degrees across six Washington University schools.
