Merve Ileri Tayar

Merve Ileri Tayar is a PhD student in the Behavior, Brain, & Cognition program in the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from TOBB University of Economics and Technology with a full merit scholarship, and her M.S. in Cognitive Psychology from Middle East Technical University. Her research focuses on cognitive control, attentional control settings, and flexible behavior.

Merve is currently studying the transfer of attentional control settings, the influence of global and local expectations on the adjustment of attention, and response tracking methods.
