    Gabriela Vintimilla Andrade, MD, is trained in medicine and has global research experiences spanning Ecuador, China, and the UK. Dr. Vintimilla currently serves as the field team leader and research coordinator for the Mikhuna project examining a dietary pattern intervention during pregnancy on fetal and newborn brain development. She completed an MSc in Clinical Neuropsychiatry at King’s College London and gained an overall Distinction. Dr. Vintimilla is multi-lingual – fluent in English, Spanish (native) and conversation-level Chinese – and has a lifelong passion for medical knowledge, research, mental health, and establishing new practices through research.
