    Dr. Greg Hyslop is the chief engineer of The Boeing Company and executive vice president of Engineering, Test & Technology. He leads the Boeing Engineering function of more than 50,000 engineers worldwide and oversees the company’s technology vision, strategy and investment. His responsibilities also include oversight of all aspects of safety and technical integrity of Boeing products and services. His organization is an incubator for businesses that will define the future of urban, regional and global mobility, as well as those aimed at near-term opportunities. Hyslop is a member of the company’s Executive Council.

    During his Boeing career, Hyslop has held a variety of roles of increasing responsibility, including leading Boeing Research & Technology and Boeing Strategic Missile & Defense Systems, as well as numerous program management positions. He joined McDonnell Douglas Astronautics Company, now part of Boeing, in 1982 as a guidance and control engineer.

    Hyslop is a American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Fellow and is a member of the board of trustees of the AIAA Foundation. He served on the NASA Advisory Council Aeronautics Committee from 2016 to 2020. He serves on the board of trustees of Washington University in St. Louis, the advisory board of the University of Nebraska College of Engineering and the visiting committee of the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

    Hyslop has a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and a Master of Science in mathematics from the University of Nebraska. He has a Doctor of Science in systems science and mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis, where he also served as an adjunct professor.
