The cohort includes 26 dynamic Scholars who epitomize the many unique attributes that contribute to the diversity of our students and their academic disciplines. The McDonnell Academy will have 93 Scholars in-residence at the start of the 2021-22 academic year.

The McDonnell Academy aspires to have one Scholar from each university partner along with U.S. and international Scholars from around the world. The 2021 cohort adds Scholars from five newly represented countries, including Ecuador, Germany, Honduras, Iraq, and Pakistan, pursuing degrees across six Washington University schools.
