One of the goals of the McDonnell International Scholars Academy is to create a global network of scholars and leaders who have a desire to address scientific and societal issues. We therefore wish to recruit individuals who would like to develop leadership skills and a knowledge base that extend beyond what is required in normal graduate and professional studies.

With this in mind, please explain why you would like to be selected as a Scholar for the program. How do you think being a McDonnell Academy Scholar might benefit your professional career and your country? How do you think you might contribute to the goals of the Academy?
